It's been an interesting month in Rossland and last Sunday was no different.

According to RCMP, at 2:07 pm, officers were called to a rural area to deal with a neighbourly dispute.

Upon arrival, officers heard that one of the residents had flung horse manure at another neighbour's outbuilding. The flinger denied ever throwing the horse poop.

"She stated that her horse had an explosive bowel movement when running which had caused the manure projectile to fly through the air and land onto the side of her neighbour’s barn," wrote police.

Despite the strange event, the matter was resolved without further incident.
