Police shut down southern BC rave with over 100 people in attendance

Police in southern BC were busy this month with numerous people breaking the law. 

According to RCMP, on July 18 at 7 pm, officers were called to the 7 km mark of the Soo River Forest Service Road in the Whistler area. 

They were responding to a reported rave that was happening in the area. 

Close to 75 vehicles and over 100 people were observed on the road in the woods. 

"The event was shut down and the DJ equipment was removed from scene."

This event is still under investigation.
