It’s hard to blame the California resident, but recent The Price is Right contestant Stephen Witka is clearly not very familiar with Canadian geography.

Last month, after Witka won a trip for two to Prince George, BC, producers displayed a photo of Lake Louise, Alta., when detailing the prize.

Despite the contestant being none the wiser to the photo hiccup, social media was quick to point out the faux pas and share some rather negative opinions about northern BC’s largest city.

The prize included a six-night stay at the Prestige Treasure Cove Casino Hotel, limo transportation around the city and a $500 dining credit to the Grand Trunk Tavern.

However, fellow Prince George based business, the Treasure Cover Casino, a different business despite the name, has pitched in to make up for the photo miscue.

"This has given the Treasure Cover Casino the opportunity to fly the winner and his guest by private helicopter to Lake Louise during his stay in Prince George," said the business in a Facebook post.

"We're so happy to contribute this additional prize, to what was already a great package offered by our awesome neighbours at Prestige Hotel."

While the actual dates of the trip were not announced, let's hope for Witke's sake it's roughly six or seven months from now.
