It may be a little early to think about holiday gifts, but it’s hard to ignore this one.

The Vancouver Police Department has released its annual Police Dog Calendar and it’s a great stocking stuffer for any dog lover this year.

It features members of the VPD Canine Unit and their four-legged partners, of course, striking some great poses as they work to keep B.C.’s largest city safe.

Each calendar costs $15, with money raised going towards the BC Cancer Foundation and the BC Children’s Hospital Foundation.

Sales of the calendar have produced $450,000 for charity since 2010.

The adorable annual calendar is funded and produced by the Candy Anfield Memorial Foundation, created by retired VPD Sgt. Mike Anfield in honour of his late wife.

She was also a VPD officer who lost her valiant battle with breast cancer in 2004.
