British Columbians will have a chance to see their favourite professional wrestlers live in just a few weeks.

The WWE announced 27 live events as part of its early 2024 touring schedule and that includes a stop in BC.

In fact, it’s the first stop on the WWE’s 2024 schedule, as Friday Night SmackDown will be at Rogers Arena in Vancouver on Jan. 5.

The lineup of wrestlers who will be in Vancouver is not confirmed at this time, but it will likely include some of the company’s biggest stars in the lead up to Royal Rumble later in January.

According to Rogers Arena, LA Knight, IYO SKY, Charlotte Flair, Rey Mysterio, Solo Sikoa and Bobby Lashley should be in Vancouver in early January, but the card is always subject to change.

There are various presale opportunities next week before tickets go on sale to the general public at 10 am on Friday, Nov. 3.

For BC Interior wrestling fans who may not be able to make the trip down to Vancouver for Friday Night SmackDown, there are two other opportunities to catch WWE action that weekend.

The company will be heading to Washington on Saturday, Jan. 5, and Sunday, Jan. 6, for SuperShows in Spokane and Wenatchee.
