It was no surprise that the BC Centre for Disease Control’s tips for safe sex during a pandemic received a lot of attention.

The suggestions included avoiding positions with face-to-face contact, wearing masks while having sex and even using glory holes to stay as safe of possible.

Today, the story has taken a whole other turn as YouPorn’s vice president Charlie Hughes has sent a letter to Adrian Dix, BC’s health minister.

“At YouPorn, we highly value the importance of considerate sexual exploration and release in our daily lives, even more so during COVID-19,” the letter begins.

“We applaud the BCCDC’s guide for its recommendation of the use of glory holes during intercourse to limit face-to-face contact during sex, in the name of safety.”

The letter continues to say that YouPorn is aligned with the BCCDC and would like to extend an offer of their support in an effort to keep BC’s curve flat without forgoing sexual pleasure.

“We would like to offer the province of British Columbia a grant of $100K to support the building of glory holes across the province,” Hughes’ letter says.

“Hope to see you on the other side!”

No word yet on whether Dix took YouPorn up on their offer.
