Sales begin this Saturday for a highly anticipated residential building coming to Rutland.

SoHo Kelowna will be an 88-unit condominium development located on the corner of Hwy 33 and Hollywood Road South, with prices starting at just $159,900.

Unit sizes in the five-storey building range from 424 to 1,218 square feet, with studio, one, two and three-bedroom units all available.

Initial homeowners will have some say on what their units look like as well, with two designer colour palettes to choose from.

Amenity wise, SoHo residents will have access to an onsite gym, social room an a landscaped corridor on the second level of the building.

“We've been involved in a number of multi-family projects around Kelowna over the past 25 years and we really like the Rutland Town Centre area,” explained Craig Buvyer, the developer behind SoHo.

“We saw this amenity-rich, pedestrian friendly area as under-served and found that we could offer incredible value compared to the current downtown high-rise market.”

SoHo is conveniently located close to Willow Park Shopping Centre, which houses IGA Marketplace, Shoppers Drug Mart, Kootenay Coffee Company and more.

It’s also close to the Hollywood Station shopping plaza, which has a number of shops as well, including a deli, bakery, market and more.

For more information on SoHo Kelowna, check out their temporary website, or visit the presentation centre (starting Saturday, daily from noon until 4 p.m.) at 191 Hollywood Road South.
