The two discuss many hot topics in politics such as protests, the BC speculation tax, the opioid crisis, BC healthcare and training doctors, and more!
“We need leadership that understands that we have got to make big changes in our healthcare system to focus on the patients. I care about the patients, I don’t care about the system,” explains Falcon.
He also worries about the housing crisis.
“I don’t want a whole generation of young people in this province giving up on the dream of ever owning a home,” he says.
Falcon shares all about why he put his name forward in the provincial election, what guides him in both private and public life, as well as which two politicians he most admires – Ronald Reagan and Margaret Thatcher.
He pledges to reduce the costs of government on individuals so they have more money in their pockets.
“We’ve got the highest marginal personal income tax rate almost in all of North America now at 53.5%. What’s interesting about that, when the government is taking more than half of your income, a lot of people just say ‘you know what, I’m not prepared to pay more than half my income to the government, it’s not right, it’s not fair.’”
