There will be another brief closure of Hwy 1 this afternoon as crews perform avalanche control.
The road will be closed from the Hwy 95 turn off in Golden to the west boundary of Yoho National Park.

It’ll last from 1 pm PST until 3 pm PST, although it would be wise to note that the area closed is in MST.
There will be no detours available.
If there are any delays in the expected time for the road to reopen, Drive BC will provide an update at 2:45 pm PST.
