(Update - 11:30 p.m.): BC Highway 1 is still closed due to a vehicle incident, the next scheduled update is set for 12:15 a.m.
(Original - 8:30 p.m.): Residents looking to travel to Lytton may have to make alternate arrangements as BC Highway 1 is currently closed north of Boston Bar.
At approximately 8:30 p.m., the road was closed due to a vehicle incident.

An alternate route has been set up for eastbound traffic via BC Highway 5 while westbound traffic will have a detour set through BC Highway 8 and 5.
An assessment is currently in progress and the next update will come at 11:30 p.m.
