(Original story: July 21: 6:28 am): Hwy 3 is closed in both directions due to wildfire activity.
DriveBC said the fire is between Barcelo Rd and 115th St.

According to BC Wildfire Service, a new fire is listed at 0.1 hectares just east of Tukpaqsem Rd.
An assessment is in progress, DriveBC added.
The road is estimated to reopen at about 7:15 am.
