UPDATE: Hwy 3 east of Rock Creek open to single lane alternating traffic

(UPDATE: Nov. 10 @ 1:45 pm) - Hwy 3 is now open to single-lane, alternating traffic following a vehicle incident earlier this afternoon east of Rock Creek. 

However, DriveBC says that no Commercial vehicles will be allowed between Rexin Rd and Beadman Rd.

At this time a detour is now in effect and an assessment is in progress. 

(Original story: Nov.10 @ 11 am) - Due to a vehicle incident, Hwy 3 has been closed in both directions five kilometres east of Rock Creek. 

According to DriveBC, a collision has taken place between Rexin Rd and Beadman Rd. Crews are on the scene and an assessment is in progress.
