UPDATE: Hwy 97 fully reopened after crash north of Peachland

(Update @ 2:55 p.m.): Hwy 97 has now been cleared and fully reopened. 

(Update @ 2:35 p.m.): Hwy 97 is now open to single lane alternating traffic. 

Drivers are warned to watch for traffic control and move with care.

(Original story @ 2:25 p.m.): Hwy 97 has been closed in both directions after a vehicle incident north of Peachland.

It had happened at Drought Road, DriveBC said.

The estimated reopening time is 2.45 p.m.

An assessment is in progress.
