Multi-vehicle incident causes standstill on Hwy 5 north of Kamloops

Emergency crews are currently responding to an incident on Hwy 5 north of Kamloops. 

According to numerous witnesses, a multi-vehicle crash has the road at a standstill somewhere near McLure. Witnesses reported that the crash was near the Pinegrove Campground, just south of the ferry. 

An air ambulance has arrived on scene off Orchard Park Road. Details of injuries are still not available. 

Drive BC has not stated whether the road is completely closed. NowMedia is looking to gather that information.
