RCMP respond to fatal motor vehicle incident west of Kamloops

Last night at around 5:25 p.m. the Kamloops RCMP responded to a single vehicle rollover on Highway 1, around 5km west of Kamloops.

According to RCMP, the vehicle was travelling eastbound with two occupants towards Kamloops when it left the road.

A 36-year-old Kamloops resident was pronounced dead on the scene.

The incident is still under investigation by both the RCMP and the BC Coroner Service.
