(Original Story: Feb. 25 @ 2:30 pm) - Drive BC is reporting that a serious accident has closed southbound lanes on Highway 97.
The vehicle incident took place south of Vernon near Okanagan College.

An update from local RCMP reports that fire and emergency crews are currently at the scene and there is a large backup of vehicles.
