UPDATE: Hwy 97 reopened following a serious crash south of Vernon

(UPDATE: Feb. 25 @ 4:00 pm) - RCMP is now reporting that the southbound lanes of Highway 97 near Okanagan College are once again open to traffic.

No other details regarding the accident were provided. 

(Original Story: Feb. 25 @ 2:30 pm) - Drive BC is reporting that a serious accident has closed southbound lanes on Highway 97. 

The vehicle incident took place south of Vernon near Okanagan College.
