Snowfall warnings were issued for a number of B.C. highways on Tuesday and they’re starting to trickle in once again today.
The Coquihalla Highway has already received one, as 25-30 centimetres of snow is expected to fall on the mountain pass before Thursday morning, and now you can add two more highways to the list.
Environment Canada has issued snowfall warnings for both the Trans-Canada Highway and Hwy 3.

Another winter storm is expected to bring anywhere from 15-30 cm of snow to both highways.
The warning for Hwy 3 covers the Paulson Summit to Kootenay Pass, while the warning for the Trans-Canada Highway is for Eagle Pass to Rogers Pass.
“Snow will begin this evening as the storm system moves onshore, and intensify Thursday as it tracks across the the interior,” reads the weather alert.
“Visibility may be suddenly reduced at times in heavy snow. Weather in the mountains can change suddenly resulting in hazardous driving conditions.”
Drivers are urged to be prepared for quickly changing and deteriorating travel conditions and to check DriveBC for the latest conditions before hitting the road.
