The City of Kelowna’s annual pavement management program continues and it’s a trio of streets in the Mission that are up next.

Work on sections of Gordon Drive, Frost Road and Killdeer Road will begin on Monday, Aug. 19, and are expected to last about a week.

Here are the section of each road that will be involved:

Short-term lane closures or detours will be in effect throughout the week, but vehicles will be able to pass through most of the time.

Motorists are just advised to expect minor delays and use alternate routes if possible.

Once the work is complete, there will be a delay between when the road reopens and when crews can return to apply road lines.

New asphalt must fully cure before road marking material can be applied.
