UPDATE: Hwy 97 reopen following vehicle incident near Lake Country

(Update: Nov. 5 @ 4:05 pm): Highway 97 is now reopened near Gatzke Road in Lake Country following a vehicle incident. 

DriveBC says an assessment is still in progress and heavy congestion can be expected northbound.

(Update: Nov. 5 @ 3:35 pm): According to DriveBC the vehicle incident at Gatzke Road in Lake Country has resulted in the closure of the southbound lane.

A detour has been made available via Pelmewash Parkway.
