5 ways to use affirmations to change your reality

Affirmations are positive statements that can help you challenge and overcome self-sabotaging and negative thoughts. When you repeat them often and believe in them, they can actually change your brain chemistry.

Saying affirmations is a powerful way to condition your mind to start thinking more positively. The more you say them, the more you will believe them, and the more they will become a part of your reality.

When you first start saying affirmations, you may not believe them. That's normal! Just keep repeating them to yourself, and eventually, you will start to see results.

Here are some tips for how to say affirmations correctly so that you can get the most out of them:

1. Repeat Them Often

The more you repeat your affirmations, the more likely you will believe them. So make sure to say them several times a day, especially when you feel down or doubtful about yourself.

2. Say Them with Conviction

When you say your affirmations, really believe in them. Feel the emotion behind the words, and imagine yourself achieving whatever it is that you are affirming.

3. Say Them out Loud

Saying affirmations aloud will help embed them in your mind more deeply. You can also write them down and read them aloud to yourself.

4. Be Specific

The more specific your affirmations are, the more effective they will be. For example, instead of saying "I am successful," try affirming, "I am landing my dream job."

5. Keep Them Positive

Affirmations should always be stated in a positive form to attract results. For example, instead of saying, "I will not be poor," try "I am attracting abundance into my life."

When Should You Say Your Affirmations?

There is no definitive answer to this question, as it depends on what works best for you. However, many people find that saying their affirmations first thing in the morning or the last thing at night is most effective.

Others prefer to say them throughout the day, whenever they have a free moment. 

Whichever method you choose, be consistent with it so that your affirmations have the most significant impact.
