Nakusp RCMP is requesting the public’s assistance in locating Allan Ellsworth.

Ellsworth, a Kelowna resident, was last seen in Trout Lake, B.C. on July 31st.

He’s described as a 53-year-old Caucasian male who is 6’2” and 235 lbs with brown hair and green eyes.

Ellsworth isn’t the only man missing near Trout Lake either, as the search continues for Jared Szabo.

Szabo was reported missing on August 3rd after last being seen in Beaton, B.C. on August 1st.

The Revelstoke resident was supposed to arrive home on August 2nd, but never showed up.

Szabo is described as a 29-year-old Caucasian male who is 6’0” and 177 lbs with brown hair and brown eyes.

He was driving a 2004 white Dodge Ram pick-up truck with the B.C. license plate EL4618.

The Nakusp RCMP confirmed that a vehicle similar to that description was located in the Fish River along with fresh signs of a vehicle leaving the road.

However, search and rescue crews haven’t been able to reach the submerged vehicle due to high water levels.

Anyone with information on the whereabouts of Ellsworth or Szabo is urged to contact the Nakusp RCMP at 250-265-3677.

You can also report tips anonymously to Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477.
