Police in the Shuswap had to deal with some troubling individuals over the weekend.

According to RCMP, on Friday, officers were called to two different schools in Salmon Arm after anti-vaccine protestors entered the buildings uninvited.

Thankfully, just four protestors were involved in the incident.

"Protestors were met by a security guard at the school, asked to leave and were gone when police arrived," wrote police.

While the incident was going on, the schools were reportedly placed under a hold and secure.

The protestors would eventually leave without incident. This allowed the school day to finish as normal.
