UPDATE: 10-year-old boy found

UPDATE (10 p.m.): Cpl. Don Wrigglesworth of the Penticton RCMP reported that Jason Wuensche has been found.

Original Story (8 p.m.):

A 10-year-old boy is missing from his home in Penticton.

Penticton RCMP received a report at 3:30 p.m. on Friday that 10-year-old, Jason Wuensche, was last seen at 1 p.m. and had not been seen since. 

RCMP were told that Wuensche was upset and last seen walking Northwest across the Columbia school yard near Duncan Avenue and Lawrence Road.

He has done this several times in the past. The last time he went missing, he was later found in a tree in his yard on Beattie Court. 

He had bright, red flip flops with the word, "Canada" written in white on top. 

He has expressed a fear of the dark.

Police hope he is located at home, at a restaurant or around town before night sets in.

Wuensche is a Caucasian male, age 10 years, 5'4" with brown hair and blue eyes.

He was last seen wearing shorts, a t-shirt, red flip flops and a black and blue backpack.
