The receiver for Mount Baldy Ski Resort says a prospective buyer has issued an offer for the property and it isn't too late for the resort to open for the season.

G-Force Group has been appointed Receiver-Manager for the property and has been working for well over a year to find a buyer for the bankrupt resort. Several offers have come to the table over the year, but according to G-Force Group, all of those have fallen through and no buyer has been found.

But now there is good news as a prospective deal is on the table and the two groups are working together to reach an agreement. While it is late in the season, G-Force Group is hopeful that this new offer will be completed and the resort could potentially be open for a partial season.

Previously, the goal was to open the resort on December 18th, 2015 for the upcoming ski and snowboard season. Mount Baldy Capital Corporation made an announcement in October that a deal has been reached and the resort would be open. But in a note posted on their website, they have said that no deal has been reached and the resort would not open.

Back in mid-July, 2014, G-Force Real Estate Inc. was appointed as the marketing agent for the assets at Mount Baldy Ski Resort after the resort foreclosed.
