Sadly, the same day as the Day of Mourning ceremonies took place across B.C., a man was killed at his place of work, Skaha Ford, on Friday, April 28th.

While the BC Coroners are not releasing any further information other than the "sudden death" that occurred before noon on Friday, friends and family are beginning to post their thoughts and support online and have released the name of the man who died.

The man has been identified as Quin Courmier.

A GoFundMe page has been set up in his honour to help support his family.

As people visit the page, supporters are leaving their thoughts and comments about Courmier.

"Quin was such a big part of my family here at Skaka Ford. He always went beyond what he had to do for me to make my customers happy. But the best thing I noticed about Quin is he always stood up for people and saw the good in everyone," said Sarah Gilbert.

"Quin was head-over-heels in love with Jennifer and was always so thoughtful, kind and generous. I am so blessed to have had the chance to meet him and to consider him a friend and a part of my life," said Nicole Locking.

No further information is being released at this time.
