A $200,000 car is toast after a single vehicle collision near Osoyoos.

Osoyoos RCMP responded to the crash on Highway 3 near Richter Pass Road at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.

A 2016 McLaren 570S, which starts at $184,900 for the base model, was travelling east towards Osoyoos when it lost control and went off road.

There were two occupants inside, a 28-year-old driver and 50-year-old passenger, from the Lower Mainland.

They both suffered non-life threatening injuries and were transported to hospital.

The damage to the McLaren was extensive, as seen from the photo above.

Early indication is that speed was a factor in the crash.
