KelownaNow is excited to feature some of our favorite Instagram profiles from the area!

I just moved to Kelowna this summer with my cat and trying to decide which part of this beautiful city I want to live in. I work at Bark n' Fly Dog Daycare and Boarding and absolutely love it. On my days off I am always out attending some sort of event in this gorgeous city, hiking, wine tasting or spending times with friends and family.

Why do you use Instagram?

I use Instagram as it avoids all of the drama that comes with Facebook. Instagram is the best place to showcase photos and explore awesome photos taken by others.

What will people see on your feed?

On my feed you will find nature scenes, hiking views, local events, adorable from my work, Daisy my calico cat, my family and friends, Skate of Mind which is my synchronized skating team, your typical selfies and some food pics.

Does your page have a specific style?

I don't think I have a specific style. I just take what feels right to me and often try to find a creative angle to it when possible.

Favourite Instagrammers to follow?

My favourite Instagram accounts to follow are @barknflykelowna @dogswhobrunch  @nakedhawaii @danmaniel @okanaganvalleyvisuals

Why do you follow KelownaNow?

I started following Kelowna Now when I moved here as it really showcases all of the beautiful locations in Kelowna, giving me new places to explore as well as keeping me up to date on local events. Being someone new to this city, I found that extremely helpful.

How do you decide on your location for shoots?

I literally take photos everywhere I go. If it's photo worthy, I take it.

Biggest Instagram moment?

My biggest Instagram moment? Probably this one haha.

Favourite hashtags?

My favourite hashtags #myjobisbetterthanyours #positivity #explorebc #ktown #pnwlifestyle #pnwlove #dogsofinstagram #figuresaktinglife #kelownanow
