Air Canada is boosting capacity on a number of routes across Western Canada this spring.
That includes three daily flights between Kelowna and Calgary, boosting capacity on that route by 13%.
The added flights are thanks to the airline deploying more state-of-the-art Bombardier Q-400 Next Gen aircraft.
The ultra-quiet, comfortable, fuel efficient and faster Q-400 aircraft will be well-received by our customers and is larger than the regional aircraft it is replacing,” said Mark Galardo, vice-president of network planning at Air Canada.
“We are pleased to deploy it to more communities in Western Canada as we further strengthen our regional network to optimize all significant connections between our extensive regional and global markets.”
The flights, operated by Jazz Aviation LP, will allow for more convenient point-to-point travel, as well as easy connections to other domestic, U.S. and international destinations.
Along with the route between Kelowna and Calgary, Air Canada is plenty of other flights out of Vancouver and Calgary.
