Canadians have been busy adding to their travel bucket list while stuck at home during the pandemic.
On Thursday, Expedia released its annual Vacation Deprivation study reporting an uptick in web searches for popular Canadian travel destinations.
Among the most desired destinations, Kelowna ranked second, behind only Banff and a spot above Osoyoos.
Other top searches included Canmore, Jasper, Tofino, Niagara Falls, Montreal, Revelstoke and Halifax.
"This year's findings point to yet another shift, one in which workers agree they will never take their vacation days for granted again," said Expedia in a statement.
"In fact, the majority of Canadians (83%) said they now value vacations more than ever before, which comes in slightly higher than the global average (81%)."
Internationally, Canadians are continuing to search several iconic travel destinations such as London, Puerto Vallarta, Maldives, Paris and Santorini.
According to the annual study, Canadians plan to take an extra five days of vacation in 2021.
