The first week of school is an exciting time of year, but that first weekend has a little extra punch when a name like Desiigner is in charge of the party.
Desiigner and Vanic brought exactly what was needed Friday night and between the crowd surfing and mosh pits the UBCO crowd was no doubt excited.
The crowd was obviously waiting for Desiigner's smash hit 'Panda', but the Brooklyn based rapper kept the Billboard #1 song in his back pocket for much of the set.
When 'Panda' did drop the crowd of mostly UBCO students went bonkers.
Vancouver based EDM producer Vanic had the tough job of following Desiigner's hype oriented set but he came with the proper electronic beats to keep the crowd jumping.
This is the fourth year in a row UBCO has brought in some of the bigger names in today's music industry for its annual Frosh party and the crowd graded the event with a resounding A+.
Hopefully, everyone gets to class on time for Monday.
