The UBC Okanagan Heat is celebrating “all things pride” with their second annual Pride Night in support of Etcetera Youth Group.

On Feb. 10, the community will gather at The Furnace, also known as the UBCO gymnasium, to watch the Heat volleyball teams compete against the MacEwan Griffins for their final regular season home game.

The men’s game will start at 5 pm, and the women’s will follow at 7 pm.

There will be Heat pride t-shirts on sale for $20, as well as raffles and giveaways featuring Lulelemon gift cards and gear.

Everyone is welcome to attend Pride Night.

UBCO students and children under the age of 12 get in for free.

Entry for adults is $10, and entry for seniors and youth aged 13-17 is $5.

All proceeds go towards Etcetera, a 2SLGBTQIA+ youth group in Kelowna.
