Passionate nursing students from UBC Okanagan are once again working together to raise funds for an important cause.

The 11th annual Global Gala is set to take place Friday, Nov. 15 at the Laurel Packing House in an effort to raise funds for healthcare in Ghana and Zambia.

Each year, in partnership with Okanagan-Zambia Health Initiative, the UBCO nursing students provide a formal night of food and entertainment as a fundraiser toward purchasing medical equipment, supporting outreach clinics as well as providing basic health-related resources within the communities its members serve.

Attendees can expect to enjoy a fun evening featuring a decadent three-course dinner and an exciting live auction with some big-ticket items.
