A man and woman in the North Okanagan area are scheduled to appear in court Friday after being arrested for drug trafficking.

The arrest was a result of an investigation in a dial-a-dope drug trafficking group.

Vernon and North Okanagan RCMP arrested the 36-year-old man and 35-year-old woman for possession of drugs for the purpose of trafficking.

Among the drugs seized were cocaine, methamphetamine and heroin.

RCMP say the drugs were packaged for street level sale along with other drug trafficking paraphernalia.

Their names are not being released at this time.
