Okanagan Mounties trying to ID man who stole cash, merchandise from Home Depot

Police are trying to track down a man who stole from a Home Depot in Vernon last week.

According to the North Okanagan RCMP, the suspect entered the business on Anderson Way around 4 pm.

He proceeded to steal more than $400 in both cash and merchandise before leaving the store, an RCMP statement explained.

“Police are releasing images of the suspect and are asking for the public’s help to identify him,” the statement added.

The suspect is described as a Caucasian man with a long, brown and braided beard, as well as tattoos on his arms and neck.

Anyone who can identify the man in the photos, or has information that could assist investigators on this matter, is urged to contact the North Okanagan RCMP at 250-545-7171.
