(UPDATE: Oct. 19 @ 10:25 a.m.) - Gerald Dakota Garton has been found.

Police say the 25-year-old is safe and sound.

(Original story: Oct. 18 @ 2:30 p.m.) - RCMP in the North Okanagan are on the hunt for a missing Vernon resident.

Gerald Dakota Garton, 25, was last seen on Oct. 11, 2018.

Police are very concerned for his well being and report that it’s out of character for him to be out of contact with friends and family for this long.

The 25-year-old is described as 5’5”, 150 lbs with brown hair and brown eyes.

Anyone with information regarding Garton’s whereabouts is asked to call their local police.
