Man charged with two counts of 2nd degree murder in Christmas Day double homicide

On Christmas Day, Victoria Police found the bodies of two small girls in an Oak Bay residence.

Since then a male has now been charged in connection with the double homicide in the deaths of four year old Aubrey Berry and six year old Chloe Berry.

When police were first called to the scene, Andrew Robert Douglas Berry was taken to the hospital and treated for injuries.

Upon the man’s release from the hospital, 43-year old Berry was arrested and charged with two counts of 2nd degree murder.

Vancouver Island Integrated Major Crime Unit (VIIMCU) are continuing to investigate the double homicide.

No further information has been released as the matter is now before the courts.
