A funeral for Chloe and Aubrey Berry, the two sisters found dead on Christmas Day, will take place later today.

The funeral will take place at Christ Church Cathedral at 11 a.m. and it will be open to the public.

During the service, the girls will be remembered for their outgoing personalities, their love of learning and their keen artistic abilities.

On Dec. 25, the two girls were found dead at their fathers home in Victoria's Oak Bay neighbourhood. At the time of death, the girls were four and six-years-old.

During the investigation, Andrew Robert Douglas Berry was taken to the hospital to have injuries treated. Upon release, he was arrested and charged with two counts of second-degree murder.

The matter is now before the courts.

Donations can be made to the Chloe and Aubrey Berry Scholarship Fund through the Victoria Foundation at (50)381-5532 or online at www.victoriafoundation.bc.ca.
