Do you believe in magic? For Ryan Michael, it's a career. He's a mentalist and a magician and his unique style has made him a hot commodity for special events here in Kelowna. He dazzled us here at KelownaNow and we can't wait to see him take a shot at America's Got Talent.
Michael said he had been doing magic for years, but his roommate showed him a trick that changed everything in his mind. "When every single card in the deck changed into my card, to me that transcended a trick into real magic." That was the moment his mind was set. "I was hooked," he recalled. "I've got to do this. This has got to be my life now."
Michael was recently awarded gold medals for best close-up magician and best mentalist by the Canadian Association of Magicians.
