When we put the question to a Facebook poll, the results showed almost an even divide, and a lot of anger. But take the question to the streets and Wexit is not resonating. The sample size was small. But the consensus was overwhelming. If there are ideas of Western Canada leaving confederation, those winds have not blown into Kelowna. At least not down Bernard Avenue when we were asking the question.

Hundreds of thousands of people have been following Facebook pages promoting the concept of the western provinces separating from Canada. #Wexit has been trending. The prairies were a sea of blue on election night and the Conservatives won the popular vote, but the peculiarities of our electoral system don't pay attention to that number. It's all about seats. So the Liberals have a minority government.

The Facebook poll is below.
