Getting inspiration from the Armstrong Sunflower Festival, Michelle Droettboom started the initiative Share the Sunshine as a callout to artists to participate in painting canvases for the ICU workers at Kelowna General Hospital.

What started as a project to create 150 paintings, quickly snowballed to them selling over 300 blank canvases, and thus will now also be making paintings for COVID healthcare workers at KGH.

The last day to participate in Share the Sunshine will be on Friday, Sept.17 at the parking lot of McCurdy from Grand 10.
