There was something different on the menu at The Train Station Pub in Kelowna today. Patrons were invited to enjoy a barbershop shave right beside the bar. The pub partnered with Plan B Headquarters Hair Salon and Barber Shop to offer a clean start to Movember.

It's a month-long event where men are encouraged to 'Grow their Mo" to raise awareness for men's health.

The Pub will be donating a dollar to the Movember campaign for every Classic Burger ordered this month. Movember has been most closely associated with prostate cancer, but there's been a shift to the issue of mental health.

"It's something probably a lot of us aren't aware about," said Train Station owner Dave Lindsay,"...for us to raise awareness and help get the word out about some of the struggles that men deal with."

Lindsay said it was an easy sell to get Plan B involved. "We ran the idea by them of getting some people shaved for Movember and they jumped on it."
