It's called SmartMom. New for Interior Health, this program will give pregnant women timely texts to help them during their pregnancy and beyond. Nancy Delgado of Interior Health came over to KelownaNow to give us the details.

Three texts per week, tailored to suit the individual and they come right to your phone. Project Manager Nancy Delgado said it's all peer-reviewed, evidence-based information and it comes just when needed. "To make women more confident said Delgado. "In preparing for the pregnancy, and the labour and delivery".
