The young players at this year's Kelowna Rockets Rookie camp have so much overall skill it's getting tougher and tougher to choose between them. So, said Rockets Assistant GM and Head Scout Lorne Frey Thursday. This week is a chance to see if any of the players passed over during the Bantam Draft are now showing something worth another look. Frey took a few moments away from his duties to talk about this year's crop of youngsters.

The rookie camp features 98 players and goes for a week, wrapping up on August 30th.

Fun fact: Last year, Rockets 2018 1st round bantam draft pick Trevor Wong tallied 64 Goals and 77 assists in just 30 regular season games with his St Georges School Bantam Varsity team. He has a nice highlight reel you can watch on Youtube.
