From charity runs and sports games, to craft markets and the biggest community events in the city, it is hard to be bored while being in Kelowna.

If you’re looking for a way to make the most of your weekend, we are here to tell you about the notable events and activities coming to town.

Here is your Weekend Need to KNow!

The Well-being Show

Spend the weekend at the Kanata Hotel learning about the variety of well-being services being offered in the Okanagan.

From dozens of vendors featuring everything Chiropractors, Hypno-therapists, natural body care creators and food trucks to speakers and workshops, learn all you need to and more about alternative healing in the Okanagan.

The event kicks off at 2 p.m. on Friday until 8 p.m., and will return from 9 a.m to 4 p.m. on Saturday and Sunday.

Easter Extravaganza

The Rutland Parent Participation Pre-school is hosting an Easter Extravaganza for the whole family to enjoy this Saturday!

The third annual event will feature family-fun in abundance from an Easter egg hunt and crafts to a mini vendors village, treats, face-painting and more as a way to raise funds for the nonprofit organization.

Taking place at Quigley Elementary, the event will run from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. and welcomes all to join in on the fun.

Home Grown Market

The second edition of the Home Grown Market Series will come to life this Saturday at the Innovation Centre.

Filled to the brim with talented Okanagan artisans, the Home Grown Market creates a space to find and showcase beautiful creations in addition to supporting local entrepreneurs.

Along with the vendors, attendees can look forward to live music, and delicious treats from 10 a.m to 3 p.m.!

Chocoholic Frolic

Take advantage of the spring weather and lace up your running shoes for a good cause!

The 5th annual Chocoholic Frolic welcomes one and all to run, walk or hop 5 k.m. in support of the Elizabeth Fry Society this Sunday at 10 a.m.

The best part? Along the route, you can stop for a pick-me-up as chocolate stations can be found throughout. In addition to the run, attendees can also enjoy face-painting, games and prizes for the whole family!

Harmony: Words and Music from England

Do you love music and history?

If yes, head to the Kelowna Forum this Sunday for a historical exploration through the music, poetry and inventions of early Britain as part of Early Music Studio’s performance Harmony: Words and Music from England.

Tickets are available online now for $22, the show starts at 2:30 p.m.!
