RibFest

One of the most mouth-watering events Kelowna hosts is returning to City Park this weekend.

The annual Interior Savings Sunrise Rotary RibFest hits downtown on Friday at noon and carries on all weekend long until 7 pm on Sunday!

The free to attend, family-friendly event welcomes bbq lovers young and old to sample through the delicious options from the five best nomadic ribbers in the country.

In addition to the tasty treats, you can enjoy live music and activities for your little ones all the while supporting JoeAnna’s House.

Tune it down, Turn it up

Music lovers rejoice! The second annual Tune it Down, Turn it Up music festival returns to the downtown core this Friday at 7 pm.

The fest celebrates the best fuzz-ridden psych bands our region has to offer, all the while fostering our local scene! 

15 Bands will play across two venues (Muninn’s Post and the cultural centre located at 702 Bernard Ave) on Friday night with a secret show that is yet to be announced for Saturday night.

 Weekend passes will be available at either venue for $25. 

Corn Festival at the Kelowna Farmers’ and Crafters’ Market

From 8 am until 1 pm this Saturday you can pop by the market and dive headfirst into all things Okanagan corn! 

Learn about each varietal, indulge in samples of fresh corn on the cob and enjoy live music all the while making the most of outdoor market season while you still can.

If you have plans on Saturday don’t fret, the corn festival will carry on to the St. Paul Satellite Market on Sunday. 

Kelowna Dragon Boat Festival

Catch a unique sight in Waterfront Park this weekend as the annual Kelowna Dragon Boat Festival sails through.

Pop by Tugboat Beach between 8 am and 5 pm this Saturday to get in on the action of impressive athleticism, cool boats and camaraderie all the while soaking up some sun!

Comic Con

For those of you who love all things comics, sci-fi and pop-culture get ready because Kelowna’s Comic Con is back for another year!

The 2019 edition will take place at the Kelowna Curling Club this Saturday and Sunday bringing attendees a hub filled with market vendors, celebrity guests, workshops, cosplay and more.

It all kicks off this Saturday at 10 am.
