From charity runs and sports games, to craft markets and the biggest community events in the city, it is hard to bored while being in Kelowna.

If you’re looking for a way to make the most of your weekend, we are here to tell you about the notable events and activities coming to town. Here is your Weekend Need to KNow!

Westside Daze

This weekend is the Westside Daze event! It runs Friday evening, and all day Saturday and Sunday. It is jam packed with activities for the entire family!

Make sure you bring lawn chairs or a blanket to sit on because the parade will start at 10:30 am and you won't want to miss it.

You can view the full event schedule here.

BoxcAr x BNA Launch Party

If you’ll be in the Cultural District area of Downtown Kelowna on Friday, make sure you stop by BNA Brewing Co. from 11 am to 3 pm because something exciting is happening…

BNA’s tasting room is finally growing and you’re invited to the party. With the tasting room growth, BoxcAr (by CrAsian) will be giving you a taste of the much-longed-for bites!

Bring the whole family and enjoy some of Kelowna’s finest beverages and food!

Meadow Vista Friday Night Markets

This Friday night is the first Meadow Vista Market by Craft Culture! Make sure you grab your gals, a taste for honey wine and a charged phone – this winery has the perfect summer Instagram worthy backdrop.

There will be food available for purchase from Dosa Crepe Cafe and music filling your ears by Jesse Blashill.

You mustn’t forget about the many vendors (which will be rotating bi-weekly) to browse.

This night market will be running from 4 pm until 8 pm at the Meadow Vista Artisan Farm Winery and it’s free!

Kelowna Spikeball Tournament

The first ever Kelowna Spikeball Tournament is this Saturday in Ben Lee Park at 8:30am to 7:30 pm.

You can’t sign up anymore, but if you’re wanting to watch for sport, or watch to learn (like I do) this is the event to do it!

Be part of the hype!

The Annual Valley First Downtown Kelowna Association Block Party

One of the most anticipated street festivals in Kelowna is this Saturday!

From 10 am until 4 pm, you’ll be surrounded by many of Kelowna’s community partners, local businesses and entertainment when you walk downtown.

There will be over 150 vendors along the streets with amazing deals, family-friendly activities, dancing, music and more.

You will definitely be hearing the live music – it will be even more lively downtown than it is now! It’s the perfect summer activity for the family and for the crew.

Please be aware of the road closures and plan accordingly!

Game of Thrones Trivia Night at Rusty’s

If you’re not ready to end your daytime adventure after being at the DKA Block Party (or the beach or anywhere else), you and your crew should mosey on over to Rusty’s and test whether you truly are the ultimate Game of Thrones fanatic.

We know that the show is over, but that doesn’t mean you have to stop thinking about it! Re-live the drama.

Dinner and trivia sounds like the perfect way to end a hectic day.

The maximum team size is eight people and tickets are $12/person. Trivia runs for an exciting two and half hours from 7:30 pm to 10 pm.

My Garden Wedding Grand Opening!

Wedding season is upon is! Whether you’re currently planning your wedding or just got engaged or simply looking for new businesses for events, this is the perfect place for you.

There will be businesses from the industry – including caterers, bridal wedding designers, floral design ideas, event stylists, simply everything you can think of and more for your wedding!

Yummy bits and refreshments will be served to give you the fullest wedding sampler experience.

The event takes place at My Garden Wedding from 1 to 5 pm, but you can start touring the venue from 11 am until 8 pm.

Make sure you RSVP!
