From charity runs and sports games, to craft markets and the biggest community events in the city, it is hard to bored while being in Kelowna. If you’re looking for a way to make the most of your weekend, we are here to tell you about the notable events and activities coming to town.

Here is your Weekend Need to KNow!

Pi Day

We know that Thursday is not technically the weekend, but this event is too cool not to share!

If you’re a math lover or simply have a hankering for a slice of fresh, Okanagan fruit-filled pie, then head to the Laurel Packing House from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. this Thursday. For $5 you can enjoy a slice of pie and some coffee!

Renegade Kitchen at Muninn’s

Calling all vegans! Or anyone who likes food, really. Renegade Kitchen is taking over Muninn’s Post this Friday night and is eager to serve you some tasty, cruelty-free creations.

The event starts at 5 p.m. and runs until 11 p.m., but it would be wise to show up early to secure a table.

Vintage clothing pop up shop

If you love all things retro, vintage and thrifted head to Eden in Vernon from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. this Saturday for a groovy pop-up clothing shop!

Score some rad, new-to-you threads from over seven Okanagan vintage vendors, and have the chance to win some awesome raffle prizes.

PRC Youth Night

The City of Kelowna and the Parkinson Rec Centre are teaming up to bring an evening of fun and games to local youth in Grades 6 to 9.

From basketball and an inflatable obstacle course to a photo booth, movie in the pool and more, the free activities are endless. Student I.D. is required to participate, the fun kicks off at 7 p.m. and carries on until 10 p.m.

Superhero Night with the Rockets

Even better than a great night of intense hockey, is the chance to win some awesome prizes. Saturday is Superhero night, so dress up in your hero’s costume for a chance to take home your very own Rockets jersey.

Our boys will be taking on the Vancouver Giants, puck drop is at 7:05 p.m., grab your group of might avengers and join in on the fun!

Celebrate St. Patrick's Day this Saturday night at the Laurel Packing House!

Kelowna's newest St. Paddy's celebration is bringing a night of live music courtesy of Dehli to Dublin and Kelowna's own Lucky Monkey.

Get ready to get jiggy with it, indulge in delicious refreshments, and joining in on some green-themed games. The party starts at 5 p.m. and tickets are nowavailablee online. 

Peachland St. Pawtricks Day Parade

What is cuter than seeing one dog? Seeing a group of them parading around in green for St. Patrick’s Day!

If the thought of that makes you grin, head down to the Peachland Community Centre this Sunday from 10 a.m. to noon and join in on the 2nd Annual St. Pawtricks Day Puppy Parade.

Bring your pup, or just go yourself to enjoy all the cuteness, face painting, treats and more.
