International Women’s Day at the museum

Celebrate International Women’s Day all week long at the Okanagan Heritage Museum and the Military Museum.

Learn about some of the inspiring and unconventional women who have called the Okanagan home through various self-directed activities. You can pop by from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.!

Walk in Her Shoes

CARE Canada is hosting its fourth edition of the Kelowna Walk In Her Shoes Challenge this Saturday in Mission Creek Park. 

Drop by at 9 a.m. to register and walk 10,000 steps in solidarity for women and girls in developing countries, all the while support CARE's various programs and initiatives. 

Rockets Suit Up!

To promote organ donation, the Rockets will once again rep some very fashion-forward Don Cherry-inspired jersey’s this Saturday night.

Our boys will be taking on rivals, the Kamloops Blazers, with puck drop at 7 p.m.!

Spring Closet Cleanout

The Great Closet Cleanout returns this Saturday from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Laurel Packing House.

Get ready to shop till you drop, all the while supporting a wonderful and local cause — Mamas for Mamas!

The first 100 attendees through the door will receive a reusable shopping bag to make help in the hunt for pre-loved treasures.

YLW Spring Travel Show

Dreaming of a vacay? Head to the Kelowna International Airport this Saturday from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. to dive into the planning process.

The Spring Travel Show will feature everything from airline, hotel and concierge vendors to travel agents and more. Stop by to start researching your next getaway and for a chance to win some awesome prizes.

Seedy Sunday

Spring is right around the corner so get a head start this year with great advice from local, master gardeners!

Visit the Parkinson Rec Centre from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. to take part in Seedy Sunday tutorials, find seeds and bulbs to fill your garden with and get answers to all your gardening questions.
