Arterra Construction Ltd. was awarded the project, which will see the next phase of work done in the cemetery. It is forecasted that the Westbank Cemetery will be at full capacity by the fall of 2015, or very early 2016. In the fall of 2013, the district began two improvement projects which were completed in June 2014. The first project included the addition of two granite columbaria, two mausoleums and two memorial benches within a garden area. This addition provided 212 above ground interment plots. The second was a landscape improvement project which transformed the gravel based cemetery surface to a more formal appearance which included trees, turf and shrubs.
