Motorcycle Crash Claims Life of West Kelowna Man

A tragic accident took a 30-year-old West Kelowna man’s life on Sunday.

At about 1:15 p.m. on Sunday, July 5th, witnesses say that the blue Harley Davidson motorcycle was passing unsafely and exceeding the speed limit on Boucherie Road from Highway 97. The motorcyclist then lost control near Proserpine Road. The 30-year-old was ejected in the crash and suffered life-threatening injuries. Though a doctor and paramedic immediately at the scene worked to save his life, the man died a short time later in hospital.

An RCMP Traffic Analyst will be doing a thorough scene investigation, and RCMP are looking to confirm the contributing factors in this fatal accident.
